Kahlid Poster

Create a weekly event poster that matches the artists' overall feel or aesthetic for that week. Including a visually captivating image with time, date, artist's name, ticket information, websites, and any other bonus information that was added that week. 

I started with research; during this time, I listened to Khalid's albums and looked for inspiration on Pinterest and other social media. Once I had an idea, I moved on to concepting, which involved gathering different images to use in the design. Finally, I added the final touches to incorporate the event information into the poster design. 

 I have memories of listening to Khalid during COVID in 2020. During this time, I remember watching sunsets, listening to albums, or skating in my city with no one around. I wanted to capture this feeling as best I could with the soft lighting of the sunset and the fluffy clouds. I chose yellow for the information to slightly contrast with the design and colors, while still remaining within the palette of the clouds. I finally added a grain to the whole image to give an aesthetic feeling as well as the images I remember seeing on the internet during that time.
